Trainees will develop SAICA competencies necessary to qualify as Chartered Accountants and support BDO's mission to provide exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits in the banking, insurance, asset management, and funds sectors
• Plan, execute, and finalize audit engagements
• Analyze financial statements and ensure compliance with SAICA and IFRS standards
• Work closely with clients and management to gather financial information
• Develop innovative solutions and contribute to transforming the FS industry
• Collaborate with audit teams and participate in CSI initiatives and professional development

Qualifications

• Honours / PGDA / CTA or equivalent qualification from a SAICA-recognized university
• Strong technical ability, attention to detail, and analytical skills
• Passion for financial markets and the FS sector
